Mineral Resources Around Offshore Sri Lanka - Sri Lanka, 1995, - 65-68p.

Under the terms of the Law of the Sea Convention, Sri Lanka controls an offshore territory of over one million sq. km. which includes a 200-mile (approx. 320 km) Exclusive Economic Zone and sea bed rights beyond.
